As Monira was attending Fullerton College; she unexpectedly lost her life in a freeway shooting. She was a bright, beautiful young woman with a compassion for helping others. In fact, Monira was studying microbiology at Fullerton College pursuing nursing career. She was a compassionate human being with a heart of gold and a desire to help others. In honour of her memory, her family has established a scholorship for young women like Monira, who have aspirations of pursuing a career in the medical field.
